Jim Jones appeared at the 18th precinct in New York this morning to discuss the incident that allegedly occurred on Christmas Eve at a Louis Vuitton store.

Police believe Jones and his entourage were involved in an altercation with a member of Ne-Yo’s crew who is also an associate of Jay-Z. Reports suggest Jones and his crewed punched and kicked Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith who is Jay-Z’s best friend.

Jones was released after questioning and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket.

Afterward, Jones said “All I know is I was shopping. I don’t know what happened.”

He added, “I’m done with beefs this year. I’m just gonna become a rapper. I’m just like Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer. I am a rapper. Leave me alone.”

Jones is set to appear in court Feb. 4 and his upcoming album “Pray for Reign” hits store on Feb. 20.

R&B Singer Ne-Yo presented a $30,000 check to M. Agnes Jones Elementary School in Atlanta courtesy of VH1’s “Save The Music Foundation” last week. The money will be used to buy music instruments for the school.

Ne-Yo said, “These kids are our future. And we are going to have some very smart, but very boring, very bland kids if we don’t keep programs like these in the schools”.

In related news, The singer is also working with Marilyn Manson.

He says, “I’m sitting down next with Marilyn Manson so we can write songs for his new album. I don’t have preconceived notions about what he is musically, the clothes he wears, none of it.”

“We’re about to go into the studio together. I’ve wanted to work with him for ages and his people reached out to me when they heard.”

“I have no idea what the music will sound like or what direction we’ll take, but it will be really cool. We’re obviously two separate sides of the musical extreme but that’s what makes it exciting.”

“People might think it’s a strange collaboration, I don’t. But don’t worry – you won’t see me adopting his style. I don’t think you’ll ever see me in make-up.”
