Diddy Settles Lawsuit with Louis Vuitton

Sean “Diddy” Combs, CEO of Bad Boy label, has signed a settlement with bag maker, Louis Vuitton—a company that filed a lawsuit against Combs for copyright infringement of LV products.

The case centered on the product placements of LV products on Danity Kane videos and advertisements. Danity Kane is a hip-hop group that is produced by Combs’ Bad Boy Records. LV said that these placements were unauthorized and breached copyright infringement laws.

Kanye West Retiring From Rap to Pursue Fashion Career?

Kanye West revealed he is moving to London next year to pursue a career in fashion. The 31 year old is applying for internships at Louis Vuitton, Raf Simons, and other fashion companies in Europe. The rapper currently has his own clothing line called “Pastelle”.

Kanye said, “I’m going to go and take an internship and just do something that’s like completely normal, and just rap at the weekends or something.”

An insider said, “He [Kanye] absolutely loves London and wants to absorb the fashion over here.”

Kanye West to design Louis Vuitton shoes

Louis Vuitton & Kanye West are teaming up to create a line of men’s shoes for the LVMH-owned luxury brand. Kanye also said he’s working on a signature line of womens footwear set to debut in the fall.

“I grew up with the Louis look, you know,” West told the U.K.’s Guardian newspaper at the LV show Friday at the Jardins de Bagatelle. “I just love the style.”
