A Diddy and Dr. Dre collaboration? What happened to the whole East Coast vs. West Coast thing?
One might say that this is just business.
Diddy has been working with Dre and Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine on his own line of Diddy Beats ear bud headphones. The product was developed through Monster, a company best known for its high-end audio cables, which previously introduced Dre’s own Beats By Dr. Dre headphones and is set to unveil Lady Gaga’s ‘Heartbeats’ audio line in the near future.
“We designed some ear buds called Diddy Beats that will be out next year,” Diddy said of his collaboration with Dre. “We also have an iPod speaker base for your house coming out. That experience as a whole was good, we [Dr. Dre and I] had a great chemistry with each other.”

May 30, 2009 by Porky · 6 Comments

In a new twist to celebrity backlash, a Twitter trend called “unfollowdiddy” has emerged soon after hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs hit one million followers on the microblogging site.
While celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Ashton Kutcher have embraced Twitter and quickly built up an online following, Mr. Combs didn’t receive the same warm and fuzzy reception from Twitterers.
Starting on Wednesday, the hashtag “#unfollowdiddy” reached the top ten Twitter trends, which persisted Thursday, in which users posted the hashtag and listed both humorous and serious reasons why people shouldn’t follow Diddy on Twitter. Some of the highlights were: “because his ego is bigger than all of ours combined,” “Because my SeanJohn Tracksuit Fell APART” and “Diddy is at the intersection of all that is mediocre in the US.”

Recession Effect? Young Jeezy Wears Same Jacket As Diddy in Music Video
April 10, 2009 by Porky · 5 Comments

A few days ago Day 26 released their first single “Imma Put It On Her” featuring Diddy. In the video Diddy wore a blue jacket with black collars and a white patch on the left arm. Today pictures from Young Jeezy’s video shoot of “So Amazin’” featuring Kanye leaked and he is wearing the exact same jacket.
Is the recession starting to effect Jeezy (Ironically his album is called “The Recession”)? Are they gay fishes? or is this just a coincidence? You decide.

50 Cent says Jay-Z is Too Old For Tours, Diss Diddy?
March 19, 2009 by Porky · Leave a Comment

50 Cent thinks Jay-Z is too old to continue touring.
The ‘Candy Shop’ rapper believes the hip-hop mogul signed his recent deal with Live Nation - which sees the company handle all of his records, touring, merchandising and marketing - because he is at an age where he doesn’t feel he needs to continue negotiating different aspects of his professional life.
50 - real name Curtis Jackson - explained: “Jay is in a different space in his career. He may be tired of running around and negotiating each individual deal. The deal would be actually putting that in someone else’s hands.
