So much so that the firm continues to push the limits on just how far it can go. At Baselworld, the watch trade fair that’s taking place this week in Switzerland, the brand debuted its first car.

Marek Djordjevic, the designer of Rolls-Royce’s Phantom and Drophead models, has created a Range Rover coupe under LSE Design in the U.K. The modification of the five-door sport utility vehicle starts at approximately $279,000 and climbs to $716,000, depending on different options such as a diamond-encrusted dial set on the dashboard and a panoramic roof, and armoring.

General Motors Pulls Plug on 50 Cent’s Pontiac G8 Truck

Due to the economic downturn GM has canceled plans for the Pontiac G8 Sport Truck that was supposed to go on sale later this year.

Pontiac’s spokesman Jim Hopson said “With Pontiac focusing on being a sporty car brand, the decision was made the G8 ST just didn’t fit into what Pontiac was going to be at this point.” The truck was first introduced by 50 Cent in New York last Match.

50 Cent said at the time, “Partnering with Pontiac has given me the opportunity to create something truly unique — a customized performance vehicle I am really proud of.” He added, “The G8 is like none other, and it pushes the boundaries of what people think a car has to be.”
