Master Recordings of Tupac, Snoop, and Dr. Dre sold for $18 Million

The assets of Death Row Records were auctioned off earlier this week for $18 million to WIDEawake Entertainment Group. The assets included in the transaction include master recordings of Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre.

In 2006 Suge Knight filed for Chapter 11 protection and last July Global Music agreed to buy Death Row for $24 Million but the deal fell through because of inadequate financing.
