October 7, 2008 by Porky

John Legend will be going on tour with his labelmate Raphael Saadiq starting Nov. 19 to promote his upcoming album “Evolver”. The album is set to release on Oct. 28th via Columbia Records and will feature Andre 3000, Kanye West, Pharrell, and Akon.
His first single “Green Light” is currently #32 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Legend said the album will bring a new sound saying “The tempo is faster than I’ve done before. It will be different for people, because ‘Evolver’ has a bit more instrumentation than I’ve used before. But it’s not like you won’t recognize the artist-it’s still me.”
