Jay-Z Sued Over ‘I Will Not Lose’ campaign

Jay-Z and Iconix Brand Group are being sued by I Will Not Lose, LLC because of an advertising campagin Rocawear ran last year that featured the slogan “I Will Not Lose”. The campaign featured Chris Brown and Ciara and now the CEO of I Will Not Lose, LLC is seeking damages for trademark dilution.

Jay-Z, who sold Rocawear Clothing to Iconix Brand Group last March for $204 million dollars, is named in the suit because they believe he still has continuing involvement with the clothing label.
