T-Pain said he’s going to work with country singer Tim McGraw in studio after the duo met last month at SNL. This is not the first time McGraw has worked with a hip hop star. A few years back he collaborated on “Over and Over” with Nelly and earlier this month he recorded “Human” with Chris Brown.

“We talked about getting in the studio together, so that’s probably going to happen soon,” T-Pain says. “I definitely think we could do something cool and different.”

T-Pain goes on to brag about personal life saying, “My wife loves strippers too! She goes to strip clubs with me. For my birthday, my wife got me 25 strippers.” What a lucky man.

Christina Milian dropped from Def Jam because of Rihanna

December 19, 2008 by admin · 1 Comment

In the latest issue of Rap-Up magazine. Christina Milian said one of the reason she got dropped from Def Jam in 2006 was because of Rihanna.

Milian said, “It was a budget cut, I believe. [Def Jam] probably got rid of projects like mine to spend the money on [Rihanna]“.

Another reason might be her 2006 album, “So Amazin”, only sold 54,000 copies the first week.

Milian is set to release her new album “Dream In Color” in early 2009 via MySpace Records.

The sales projection for next week is in. After looking at the 1 day sales Keyshia Cole’s “A Different Me” is projected to have a first week sale total of 275-300k. The album is expected to debut at #2 on the charts next week which is not bad considering she didn’t have much promotion.

Meanwhile, Jamie Foxx’s “Intuition” should debut in the 200k range in the #3 or #4 spot behind Coles. Anthony Hamilton is looking at 120-130k for his new album, “The Point of it All”.

Plies’ album “DA REAList” is expected to sell 100k. But the biggest surprise of all is platinum rapper Soulja Boy. His sophomore album “iSouljaboyTellem” is only on pace to sell 30,000 copies in its first week.

Is Soulja Boy’s career over?
