Ludacris - Theater of the Mind

01. intro 01:55 (Song Rating: Not Rated)
02. undisputed (co-starring floyd “money” mayweather) 04:33 (Song Rating: 6/10)
03. wish you would (co-starring t.i.) 04:47 (Song Rating: 5 /10)
04. one more drink (co-starring t-pain) 03:41 (Song Rating: 5/10)
05. call up the homies (co-starring the game and willy northpole) 04:04 (Song Rating: 7/10)
06. southern gangsta (co-starring rick ross, playaz circle and ving rhames) 04:34 (Song Rating: 5/10)
07. everybody hates chris (co-starring chris rock) 04:54 (Song Rating: 4/10)
08. what them girls like (co-starring chris brown and sean garrett) 04:02 (Song Rating: 6/10)
09. nasty girl (co-starring plies) 04:32 (Song Rating: 5/10)
10. contagious (co-starring jamie foxx) 04:45 (Song Rating: 4/10)
11. last of a dying breed (co-starring lil wayne) 04:10 (Song Rating: 4/10)
12. mvp 03:50 (Song Rating: 3/10)
13. i do it for hip hop (co-starring nas and jay-z) 05:22 (Song Rating: 5/10)
14. do the right thang (co-starring common and spike lee) 05:11 (Song Rating: 3/10)
Ludacris’ sixth studio album “Theater of the Mind” is probably the worst album he has ever put out. You can tell just by looking at the track listing. Almost every song (except for MVP) featured a guest appearance. Generally rappers do this for two reasons. One, Ludacris has ran out of stuff to say so he needed other rappers to help fill up the songs. Two, the album sucks and Luda is trying to put as many big names rappers as possible so he can move units. The thing that was most disappointing was the fact that he’s got the biggest names in the rap game on his album like T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z and Nas but can’t manage to make one hot song.
Luda’s last album “Release Therapy” sold 309,800 copies in the first week and 1.9 million overall in the United States. Personally, I don’t think he will be able to sell half of that in the first week considering he’s going up against Kanye and his single “What them girls Like” peaked at #33 on Billboard Hot 100 chart.
(Final Album Rating: 5.75/10)
