i can definitely see the yankees getting holliday and not resigning matsui or damon....makes sense from a defense, and age standpoint, hes also a better hitter, and they wont pay him much more if any than them 2.....im a fan of both matsui and damon, but id take holliday....some other MLB news from sites i use:
cards said troy glaus definitely isnt coming back to STL next season...
7 teams interested in John Smoltz...
angels unlikely to resign figgins, vlad, or lackey...
joba still doesnt know if he will start or be in the bullpen next year, waiting on yankees decision...
reds considering moving joey votto to left field...
