Well, it's too late to say that you should've understood the consequences and the responsibility that goes with dating young girls in their teens.

But if you really love her and knowing that she loves you back, you need to speak to the mother and tell her you're serious about her.

I've been in quite the similar situation. My current girlfriend has a psycho mother who pops tylenol on the reg like it's candy. Her mother is always on her case about something, no matter how insignifigant. She forced my girl to break up with me a couple times (for rediculous, irrational reasons), but we fought thru it, and now her mom just basically gave up on trying to seperate us.

If you're really into this girl then I'd suggest sticking it out, because in my experience, once the mom sees that what she's doing dosen't change shit, she'll give up.

The way I look at this situation is like one of those chinese finger traps. The harder the mom pulls, the tighter you and your girl become. And that's the truth.

If a mother ever wanted to drive her daughter into the arms of her boyfriend, this is the way to do it. An angry parent can't stop young love, and certainly not by being cruel and demanding. All this girl's mother is doing is destroying her daughter's love and respect for her.

What will end up happening if you stick with her is she will probably move out early, and she will have the choice of being distant from her mother in several different ways. The mother is misguided and is making a huge mistake by being this way.
