im surprised Mary J aint really givin AK a run for her money like i thought she would just given the fact that Mary J is a livin legend

but from what people been tellin me Mary J's cd was extremely subpar given her status and what she's released in the past. Someone even told me that "Just Fine" was the best track on the album :shock:

iWouldnt say it has anything to do with Alicia's Looks, Like Porky Said, but iWould say CONSISTENT Album sells depend on the Quality of the Music, Sooo, Reading what You have said about MJBs Cd, and Knowing what iKnow about Alicia's CD, Thats what its Looking Like,,,,,,,The Level of Quality.

Also, Alicia is pretty much Better than MJB, IMO, iJust think Alicia has the More "Attractive" Voice, She can Attract ALL Types of Fans, MJB is TOO Soulfoul, Majority Black Fans.

well its the new version of mary compared to a. keys.

The old mary is unquestionably the queen of hip-hop and r&b (she's only the queen when the styles are mixed. When it comes to just r&b, we all know there are better singers.) But the new mary kinda sounds like she lost her roots.

Mary's voice back in the day really used to have a gritty quality to it and thats what made her so great. Now its like her voice is fine tuned and just boring. She can hit some crazy high notes, but all of her style has just disappeared.

This may sound stupid, but mary fell off once she got off the dope.
