Well I've known this girl for a year now. When we first met she ran i a different circle from me (a real prepy crowd) and i would just talk to her in clas. Then she had a falling-out with her freinds and didnt chill with them. So i would see her at lunch and chill with her and just talk and what not and eventually she was running with the people I ran with. Then she started talking to my homeboy, which was cool with me because we were just freinds. I was still close with her but I never really got into there buisness even though she would be asking me about him (they're still not dating). So just recently we satrted talking a little bit more she would call me and the other way around, and they haven't talked in a while. So now the problem is that since she started talking to me and not him he's getting jealous and its fucking with our freindship. To me the fact that he's getting jealos means that he sees me as competition. Now I dont really like the girl but I could pull her. So what should I do?

Chances are she's using you as an emotional tampon (preferably to get back at your boy) and if you try to game her the only responses coming out of her mouth would be along the lines of "I don't see you in that way", "Lets just be friends" etc. Chicks come and go but the brotherhood stay strong you know what i mean. U dont want to be capitalizing on your friends depression and naivety. Thats selfish. Women have been known to lie and tear friendships between men.

From what I read all you've done is just talk. No physicality as of yet. So why would there be a need to go down that track. Just tell her straight you are her friend but nothing more. there are plenty of chances of you finding a girl who likes you from day one not just when she's exhausted a particular clique she wasnt even in originally. There are 3 rules, bro's before hoes, no good deed goes unpunished, and mobi. If you get with her you are sending message to her, your friend, and your immediate friends that you are weak. So no, I would even let her know that she makes a good friend only. Doing so makes you a better bud to your boy, and solidified friendship, and the chick will have respect for you, which in turn will come back when meeting other girls. Bro's before hoes has a very deep and powerful meaning. It would take several paragraphs to write down all the good qualities it projects. Stick with it. If you are in College and you are hanging with a bunch of guys in a dorm - they aren't your Bro's. If you have a friend you've known for 5 years and has been there for ya' and such - thats a Bro. If he ain't a Bro then its a free-for-all and vice versa.

The only trump card that nullifies the stanga bros before hoes is when the girl is QUALITY material. She aint it. Move on.

Thats the thing she aint no plain every-hood-ho shes a real nice girl. And my homeboy he be talkin to other hoes but he jusk keep her on the side. Right now she talks to me more than him. But thanks for the advice. Apperciate it a lot.
