What's the difference between the following terminologies (used when referring to your relationship with a male individual in your life)

a) he's "my man"

b) he's my "boyfriend"

c) he's my "hubby"

d) he's this guy i'm "talking to"?

or is there no difference at all. just curious.

a) he's "my man" -we're dating,and its serious

b) he's my "boyfriend" -we're dating, maybe it'll get serious

c) he's my "hubby" -refer to "he's my man", and you're prolly married

d) he's this guy i'm "talking to"? - not dating, en route to dating

a) he's "my man" - "we've been dating for a while" [dont really use that]

b) he's my "boyfriend" - "we just started dating"

c) he's my "hubby" - "we're serious, into the marriage stage" [dont use that either it sounds weird but okay]

d) he's this guy i'm "talking to"? - "i'm trying to date him"
