This allows u 2 b able 2 play ur own MP3's wit Verizons new gay-ass fuck software that blocks it. What u do is press da menu button, if u have "The V" da phone has 2 b opened, the type in 0 (zero)...it should come up wit a screen that says "SERVICE CODE"....it is waiting 4 a password, replace all of da ?????? wit 0 (zeros).....then look 4 "Music Settings"....da defult thang it should b on is "MOD Only".....chang it so it says "MP3 Only" then prees "OK" then hit da end button. Now u should b able 2 play ny MP3's or WMA files, without buying music. WARNING THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH DA NEW CHOCOLATE PHONE <~~~if ny1 figures out how 2 do it 2 dat phone pleaz let me kno cuz my sis has that phone

yo on the Chocolate phone, you can't play your own mp3s? can't you just put the songs on a memory stick or transfer them using Verizon's usb cord? I'm getting one next month but I don't want it if I can't play my own mp3s

I got the LG Chocolate and I can use Windows Media Player to sync my mp3s and have been able to just drag and drop my mp3 to my micro SD card. In fact I put music videos from dvd rips on there as well as a full length movie. Also put a custom ringtone as well.

That isnt a huge secret, I worked at Verizon for two years, it is only an LG menu, and there is another passcode AFTER this that let's u get into some REAL cool secret shit. We just did this crap to make the customers feel like we were doing some kind of "Magical" fix on there phones...u can adjus a few minor settings in here tho, it's just he service menu...watch out if u fuck something up VZW gets to laugh at u and call you stupid, they're not liable to fix anything in there, neither is LG

And for them niggas who got any LG phones for verizon with in the last year and a half, they switched how you access that secret menu. The new one can be accessed by pressing pound twice then type in the word program like your texting then type in the model number of your phone ex.8600 then press send. the pass code is still all zeros on this part. So as follows ex: ##program8600(press Send) 00000. there ya go. Hope it helps. But like the dude above said it don't matter cause the phones were never locked in the first place.
