View Full Version : DarkskaR'z Guide To TORRENT Downloading! (Step By Step!)

Hey, What's Up!

This is another TUTORIAL/GUIDE that I have made to help people out. My other one was the EASIEST way to RIP + BURN DVD's (Find It Here: http://tinyurl.com/ftjpu)

In this GUIDE I will tell you how to USE, DOWNLOAD & FIND TORRENTS. You will need a GOOD BitTorrent PROGRAM and GOOD torrent SITE.

- Azureus (http://tinyurl.com/gdfes)

-WHAT TO DO-
Download & Install ONE off these programs ABOVE ^^ and open them. One you have opened them ALLOW ACCESS to them IF you have ANY FIREWALLS ON. If not, then don't worry about it.

Open it and go to PREFRENCES/OPTIONS and just do YOUR settings. If you have GOOD UPLOAD speeds then make your UPLOAD speeds HIGH and if you have SHIT upload speeds then make them LOWER. Change around any settings if YOU want then close it. I recommend you RESTART your computer, so do so.

- Torrent Websites -
There are ALOT off torrent websites around. I will give you the BEST and FASTEST ones that around now.

- http://www.torrents.to/ (Movies/Games/Show/Albums/Etc)
- http://www.bitoogle.com/ (BitTorrent Search Engine)
- http://www.filemp3.com/ (MUSIC/ALBUMS ONLY)
- http://www.fileporn.com/ (PORN ONLY)
- http://www.filelist.com/ (Movies/Games/Show/Albums/Etc)

-WHAT TO DO-
Depending on what YOU want you can go to any off these sites as mentioned ABOVE. You go to them and just click MOVIE/GAME/SONG/ALBUM/SHOW, whatever you are looking for and SEARCH for it.

EXAMPLE
I want to download LOST. I go to TORRENTSPY and search for LOST under TV SHOWS.

Once you FIND it you DOWNLOAD the torrent by clicking ON IT or BESIDE it (It depends, it's different on every site, but it's EASY!). Once you have it on your DESKTOP you will OPEN your bittorrent PROGRAM and you will DRAG or OPEN your TORRENT file that you have just downloaded.

It will AUTOMATICALLY start downloading. All you do now is wait for it.

NOTE
Make sure your not downloading anything when your torrent's are downloading because it WILL slow you down ALOT!

- THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW -
You need to know that your speed can vary. You can have the BEST speed or you can have the SHITEST speed.

If you have good speeds DONT touch nothing. Keep it going at that speed. If you have SHIT speeds you can do couple things to try speed it up.

You can look on other websites for the same file you are downloading and try again. You can close everything you are doing and let your torrent download by itself. This usually takes the load off your computer and nothing is hogging your internet, so your torrents get it all! If nothing, you can try another BitTorrent program.

NOTE
The MORE you UPLOAD the MORE speeds you get! That's how torrents work! If you keep LEECHING you will get SHIT back! If you SEED (share) you will get ALOT back!

So the more you let people download off you (upload) the more speeds you get off them! SO GIVE TO GET!

Well, if this is the wrong section then wtf is the right section?

In the MY COMPUTER section it says "STUFF THAT CAN BE INSTALLED".. true you install 1 program but this is a GUIDE to HELP you out ..

Can we have a Tutorials/Help section ?! Would really help out ALOT off people here always asking and asking questions..
