Iight, my gurl used to fuk wit this nigga for bout 3 years b4 she met me but he moved to Atlanta and she stayed down here so dat shyt aint work. She still chit chat wit him every now and then but she said he respect our relationship and all dat talk. Now me and her bout to move to Atlanta and i told her when we move it aint gon be no buddy buddy type shyt between them 2 like off of "Brown Sugar" but she insist dats her friend. She fuked up and told me tha otha day dat if me and her eva break up dat them 2 would probably get 2gether. So now im at tha point like it aint gon be no contact wit dat nigga, cuz wha she said mean she still got feelins for him.

So tha question is: Would u let yo gf/bf maintain a friendship wit their ex even if they promise to god dat they just friends?

My answer is no cuz once there is feelins between 2 people, u can neva lower tha level to "just friends".

and as much as I can agree with that, its then that trust comes into the picture. If you trust that your chick has given you and only you her heart then thats what it is. However, just cuz you trust a person doesn't mean that your right in doing so. You may be wrong, but it'll help you sleep at night.

Basically if a chick (or any person in general for that matter) hasn't given you a reason to deem them untrustworthy then you shouldn't.
