I been off the forums for a good min and i dont know if its been covered already but how do ya'll feel about long distance relationships.....I moved to GA recently and my girl was supposed to go to school down here....Some shit went down and now she goin to a school in Maryland...We talked about it and nah mean im tryin to explain to her that i feel that long distance relationships just dont work...She on some shit like...what, you dont trust me?....but it aint even like that..I kno my freshman year in college waz crazy cuz it was soooo many new females to pick from....Niggaz let me kno this was gon be the situation b4 i started school so i knew to go in single, just to avoid the drama....Im thinkin its gon be the same situation for her and its gon be some nigga that can do what i cant cuz im not there on the everyday....Outside of my situation, i feel long distance relationships dont work in general bcuz all ya'll got is phone convos with little to talk about but memories cuz its not like ya'll been chillin together....maybe im jus on some otha shit....wut ya'll think??

Long distance does not work for all people and all relationships.

well, MD to North carolina is about 5 hours, and I think GA is 3 hours from NC (I think), so you talking far enough!!

tru word... its all about commitment, trust, determination and motivation..sometimes no matter how much you want to trust, and try to trust. Something is said or implied that gives you that little tiny splinter of doubt. You can be totally commited but if the person on the other side is grimey and sneaky its just never gonna work.

yes and no. if the distance between you is like 5 or 8 hours you can travel to c her. i do that shit often. even surprise her. drive or get on a bus. its about sacrifice. if shes the one do that shit. if she brushes you off forget about it. but i admit that i kinda gave up on relationships in the past. like totally didnt care. but even sometimes contact between two friends can get kinda hard. people move on. thing is do they still have the time for you. people change. people get new friends. how many of you obvioulsy keep in touch wif ya friends from skool. me one or two. thats it.

if there is true love, no distance will matter (as long as u will get together SOME day :P)
cause theres nothing like waiting TOO long for something good, as they say.
but if u have already thought about all those girls u can pick from, then it doesnt look like ure head over heels in love with ur girl.. and then prolly not gonna work..

They can work, but both people have to be committed 100% to it. Its a lot of work, I think people need to sit and think is the other person worth all the trouble.

they can work, but its definitely not for everybody. both people in the relationship have to be very strong and very committed. its going to take a lot of love, trust, and restraint. you have to go in with the mentality that she is "the One" and she has to think the same way about you or else it most likely isnt going to work. ive been in a long distance relationship for about a year and a half now and its going just fine. where theres a will theres a way. Good luck
