Like a few mentioned, there can be such a drastic difference in appearance from when a girl has makeup on (a lot but done subtly) to none at all. So to me, if a guy likes me for who I really am most of the time, laid back with no makeup and just dressed comfy, then he will just be pleasantly surprised when I do put in the effort to look good for him if hes gonna take me out somewhere nice. I know Im backwards on the way things usually work (usually you get all dolled up go to a club and meet someone looking your best or whatever), but my way just makes more sense to me. So they know what they are getting a majority of the time, ya know?
