June 30th, 2005, 05:32 AM
this cd is avereage, maybe a lil more but not much.the thing that make me say its average is because a lot of the beats sound the same, most dirty south beats these days sound the same with the claps and lil electronic sounds.that shit gets old fast.other than that theres a few tracks that stand out 2 me,the 1st single dem boys i thought was hot.ganngstas featuring eazy-e is hot.that beat is ill.other than those 2,theres a couple of decent tracks but other than that its mostly sounds all the same

Yeah.. this is one of the hottest cd`s of the summer. I didn`t give it a 10 because they newcomers. They album didn`t intrigue me like Kanye`s College Dropout ( which is a classic ) but it`s pretty good for their debut album. I wasn`t really expectin` much from Diddy and Bad Boy South... But I have yet to see a bad group outta Bad Boy South. I am from the south, I mean lemme get this str8. They ain`t on that Ludacris, Lil Jon, Trick Daddy, Lil Wayne/Cash Money type level, but they steady climbin` that ladder gettin` there... I`m supportin` them bein` a southerner and all... BNDH sends out a hard vibe. Their beats are good. A couple songs I skip over, about 2 or 3. But over all.. I give this cd an 7 and a half (8 on a good day)/10.. Really worth the time buyin` it on bootleg...

I must say, Young Jeezy is a bit over-rated.. man fuck that he IS over-rated niggas lookin` at him like he`s the shit. He`s no Game, or Kanye, or Jigga to the rap game yet. Niggas expectin too much from him. But anyways, he did good on the album. Happy Jamz is by far one of the most listened to songs to me. Then 'Gangsta' Feat. Eazy E... Lovin` it... 'If U A Thug'... the beat is so hard. I love the song, by far probably the best song on the album production-wise. Jody kills his part in this song... I love it. Something I`d most def. bump in my ride. Keep It N Da Hood 2Nite is a type of song you can ride to... very laid back and chilled song. Wasn`t really feelin` 'Look' and 'No Talkin`'... The beat in Look is aiight, couldnt help to think of Da Band on this song for some reason. but the song overall is just isn`t there for me. The beat and the song isn`t there for me on No Talkin`.. P*ssy M.F.`s.. also.. just ain`t there for me... just not feelin it at all... Da Intro... coulda been a hell of a lot better... but like I said.. overall this album is an 7-8/10... Alotta these songs sound like a recycled old beat of Diddy`s... I swear these sound almost tha same as Da Bands beats... Esp Keep It N Da Hood 2Nite... but hey... I`m feelin that album...

Oh yeah Jody Breeze and Young Jeezy hands down are the stars of this album, without them this CD woulda been a flop. They both have done songs outside of BNDH. I wasn`t feelin` Young Jeezy in So Icy, cuz that song is wack as hell, but in And Then What, I was feelin` that...

Holla @cha girl...

From the A all the way to Comp-ton/They say the New N.W.A. is com-in… As far as gangsta goes, N.W.A. set the standard and (to keep it real) Da Boyz have not reached it on this album. Tracks like Bizness and Bitches and Still Slizzard scream with story-telling potential, and even through the group never gets introspective or profound, the album does leave you with a feel for their lifestyles. And it bangs. The bottom line is that their obvious talent coupled with the hit-making Bad Boy genius practically guarantees a bigger and better follow-up to their rookie release.

I gave it an 8. I liked the album cause it wasn't just another crunk album from the south. Tight beats with some good hooks here and there. Hot tracks include Dem Boyz, Bitches & Bizness, Happy Jamz, Lay It Down, Look, Still Slizzard. Weak tracks are Gangstas, If U a Thug, Pussy Motherfuckers. Overall a good album but I'd put $100 up saying that there won't be a second album...Jeezy is already off doing his own thing. He didn't even feature any BNDH on his album, whats up with that???
