The daily newspaper "Jamaica Observer" made state in its columns a few weeks ago of the possible sale of the label reggae English Greensleeves. Joint by telephone, the English label assure us his repurchase by ZEST
independent label of which the boss Steve Weitman produced (Pet Shop Boys AND Wet Wet Wet) for 3,25 millions £ (4,7 millions euros)
A repurchase which raises the question of the consequences about the artists signed at Greensleeves, in particular
Vybz Kartel, Fantan Mojah ou encore Macka Diamond AND MORE
firmly hung in the top of the charts. Contacted by telephone, the equipe of greensleeves ensured that the policy of the label will remain identical in the years to come.
ZEST communicated negative results, with a loss of 352 000 £ ( 500 000 euros) before taxes. The repurchase of Greensleeves would have, according to statements' of the label, to enable them to reach financial balance.
