My friend has an iPod n he said the battery life didnt last that long... then i heard about the whole battery losin its charge ability after 18 months, guess they fixed it in the new model. I had the Archos 20GB n it was nice till it broke, lol.. but it got overheated, playlist option was shit. but back to the iPod... if yall are givin it good word then i might get one, maybe a mini cause i dont need to carry ALL MY ALBUMS around even though all of em couldnt fit on there anyway. I just wanna have all of my choice songs close by so a 1GB or 5 is all i need

I just got the iPOD 4th Gen 20gb over 1,000 songs on that shit so far. Only problem is some songs freezes when i transfer songs through itunes, muthaphuckers need to change that shit, i suggest u turn off auto-syncing if u get it. I gave it 8/0 becaue its hot and all but no fucking tech support, the cheap fucks didnt even include a user manual in it, they put it on the cd. Cheap Bastards.. I got my shit for $275, well worth it, got over 30 albums on it so far, so i say 10$ a album and guess what it just payed for itself. Just remeber that shit uses USB 2.0 or FireWire so make sure your comp has that shit, or buy the PCI card, i didnt know that shit so i had to buy the card right after i got my ipod. This is one of the best Music inventions ever, think about it, why hire a dj when you can put all the songs on playlists, and you have access to over 10,000 song on the iPOD. Just remember never wear the fucking headphones that come with it, they make u a fucking target to get robbed.

Copp the Pod. I've had my 3rd genereation 15GB for over a year and have never had a problem wit it. I play it thru my car's stereo and all that. Battery life could be better but I have no other complaints. Don't get any impostors.

Would have gotten a 10 if it would just sort the music by artist instead of title. It looks normal when I transfer the songs using iTunes but when I use Winamp the iPod only shows the songs name instead of the artist so it sorts it by the song name. It only looks normal in iTunes cause it puts the artist into the title. If the iPod would just be able to show artist and title then I'd be able to us Winamp which is better.

Ight look if you gonig for the mini which has about 4-6 gb get the rio carbon it has 5gb the battery life is about 15-20 hrs. It price 199.99 and its smaller than the ipod. Next 15-20 gb. U shoud get the rio karma which has 20 gb for $200-$225. If you want 30 gb ge the creative Nomad jukebox zen xtra. It had 30 GB for only 275 u can't beat that but it over heats if you try to transfer music from The player TO the comp some mine blew. But I got the rio carbon now its tight reviews has given it a better grade than the ipod. Just something to think of

I love my iPod, i got a 20gig 4th generation.. i got about 2200 songs on there from old school till now. I use real player to put my songs on i find it a bit easier that iTunes and when i have real player files i wanna put on there it will convert them...I give it a 10.. I got a PSP too but thats strictly for games and movies...im a gadget freak lol
