The time is here! Christmas time! Well not exactly...but the way people act on this board, 50 is Christ Almighty. So this was the most awaited for thing.....even ahead of losin' virginity for some of these people...but hey it's here...go get some pussy (and or dick, to be politically correct).

I'm not a 50 fan coming into this, but i will try to keep my opinion unbiased.

The CD Sucked Dick. (oops, maybe biassed)

After all the waiting everyone did....words cannot re-create the dissapointment i feel currently. Even though i'm not a fan, what else is dropping now? Omarion sucked, Bone brothers is good, and cormega is good...shoot Benzino was okay....50...damnit.

The production was good....I can admit that, but when you have everyone in the industry creating you ***** and pushing your shit to make money, of course that will hold to be true.

And piggy bank? I Thought this was supposed to be a dis song? Hell i'd sing this song as a lulluby to get my kid to sleep. (First i got to get a kid) This was weak, and all this "Beef" talk over this weak ass song that you'll only listen to once....sorry folks, if you were hoping for a Nas - Jay beef....ya won't get it...not even a T.I. - Flip beef.

Anyways....Fuck....now what can i look forward too?

Just to prove i'm not just sayin' it cuz it's 50...i'll publicly admit that Get Rich Or Die Trying is a 10/10....and probably one of the top 5 best records in the last 5 years. Only behind MAYBE Kanye's College Dropout.

I Hope Jada drops some heat on 50 for that line on piggy bank, i hope the whole d block gets involved. That line just shows that 50 knows that he can have the numbers, fame and fortune, but he cant have the streets of new york, they belong to d block straight up. Documentary smashes this album even tho i played it out quick, and its not even close to get rich or die tryin, but that doesnt mean it wont sell 10 million copies

"Get Rich..." had more of a gangsta bark in the lyrics. I think 50 was more laid back on The Massacre. The tracks on the massacre were better than on Get Rich. Hi-Tek needs his props as a producer. He's puttin out constant bangers such as Game's "Runnin". "Ryder Music" has a tight beat. Piggy Bank wasn't too great after all of the hype the only thing I can say about it is that 50 didn't make any sh't up on that track.

My break down of the Massacre:
Music: 9 / 10 (I wish G-Unit would start mixing up their sound. . . their producer list is repetitive but it's good anyway)
Lyrics: 7 / 10 (50 ain't really sayin nothin new on this CD. Disco Inferno is a key example especially on the 3rd "verse" where his flow goes to shit. )

Overall: 8 -- It's a solid album, I can't hate on 50. I thought the sophmore jinx would have beat his ass (like Chingy's Powerballin) but I can listen to this all the way through. It is not as good as "Get Rich...." though.

someone please tell me i downloaded the wrong album....talk about sophmore slump....i can't wait to see the reviews for this....the album was definetly rushed.....too many songs that don't flow well from one to the other.....poor beat selections (with the exception of a couple)....lyrics are not up to par with his last album either....i think for it being the most anticipated album of the year, it was a major let down....it will put up numbers b/c of the success of his last album but it's gonna be hard for him to get back up on top after this one....i think he got caught up with all the other things he was doing.....he should of concentrated more on his music.....i guess that's what fame does to you

If you havent Noticed Most of 50 cents albums are marketing based. If you compared the cd to Get Rich or die trying which had less club songs and more of 50 cent you'd relized that 50 is was just overflowing club songs for Marketablility purposes.Disco Inferno= In da club since Magic Stick *wasnt on cd*= Candy shop he needed that make up for what he lost in his first cd. Was it worth it no. On the cd you see 50s marketbility approach rather then his actual style. I give the Scheme a 9 *because ppl bought the cd through the contreversy* If it wasnt for the contreversy 50 cent wouldve have just sold a million.This cd is the worst of the gunit trio....out of banks buck and 50....lyrically,club,beat I give the cd a mere 6.5....if you think the cd is ten listen to it for the rest of ya life,and be happy.

I wasn't really that much of a 50 Cent fan before I got this album. After giving every song a few listens I think it's a Classic. Here's my song by song break down:

02. In My Hood: Beat is not very good but 50 represents for his hood, he's still grimy he doesn't want you to forget that.

03. This Is 50: Another poor beat but 50 still brings it lyrically.

04. I'm Supposed To Die Tonight: Eminem's production skills are starting to eclipse Dre's. One of the best songs on the album!

05. Piggy Bank: B for production, B- for lyrics. Still Hot.

06. Gatman And Robin (Featuring Eminem): Very hot song, hot 16 bars by Eminem, good track.

07. Candy Shop (Featuring Olivia): It's been played out by the radio people, still a good song.

08. Outta Control: It's a club song, I started to like it after the 3rd listen.

09. Get In My Car: This song is the shit. No doubt this a banger!

10. Ski Mask Way: Another grimy cut. Hot. 50 takes you back to when he was a stick up kid. 50 can do storytelling rap too.

11. A Baltimore Love Thing: Sick concept song, I didn't know 50 could pull off a song this intelligent. Very good

12. Ryder Music: HOT! hi-tek does lays down a hot beat for 50, you gotta have soul to like this song.

13. Disco Inferno: You all heard it. It's the new In the club. Not quite as good but still a hot song.

14. Just A Lil' Bit: This song is Fire! Very hot dance cut sick beat Scott Storch is a fool for this one. Should have had a 3rd verse though

15. Gunz Come Out: I'm feeling the hook and the lyrics but man Dre's beat sucks.

16. My Toy Soldier: Hot! Definitely depends on whether you like gangsta music, you have to be able to appreciate gangsta for a lot of tracks like this and #4

17. Position Of Power: I love this one. Track is Sick. 50 tells you about the level he's on now.

18. Build You Up (Featuring Jamie Foxxx): Hot track! Jamie Fox sings good on the hook. It's a hit no doubt.

19. God Gave Me Style: Beautiful track. I love this one. Some people wont like it because there's no cussing in it, no gangsta in it, 50 shows some appreciation to God.

20. So Amazing (Featuring Olivia): This one is kind of wack, just a cut for the ladies.

21. I Don't Need 'Em: This song is gutta, no flashy stuff in there, just the real. I'm feelin' it.

22. Hate It Or Love It (G-Unit Remix): Hot, every body only has like 4 bars. Buck's verse is the best.

In conclusion you got only 2 songs that are just decent and 3 that I think are weak. So the other 16 songs are either HOT! or FIRE! Comparing this CD to Nas or Jadakiss albums the Massacre is way better. It should go down as a classic album.

This is right on the money man. Most things you said are the EXACT way i feel about the joints on the massacre. Just cant believe how close to my feelings you got :O

i waited a while before replying to this thread cause i wanted to really take in the album, a month down the line from getting it i must have listened to it about 100 times. Everything is amazing apart from a few tracks. 50 proves he doesnt need dres production to bring out an album thats hot, think dre only produced two tracks on the album or something like that. He made the most of some weak beats and ill admit he aint the best lyrically but hes certainally improving imo.

Best Tracks: Im supposed to Die tonight, Ski-Mask way, Ryder Music, Just a Lil Bit and Position of power (theres so many other hot tracks but those are the ones im feeling the now, probably in a few weeks ill have a few more favourites:P)

as for the dude who said 50s flow is weak .... listen to the opening verse in that hate it or love it joint. Thats some uplifting shit!

I expected another get rich or die tryin. The part wher4e this album failed is 50 switched up his style, and didnt have DRE on almost every track. To me thats what makes 50 so nice, is his flow to dre beats is just too sick.
But with crazy shit productions on nuff tracks this album fails. i gave it a 4.

Thats what ithink makes all those rappers hot with the exeption of Eminem cuz hes the only great MC on aftermath. Game could get up there but its too early to tell. all of g-unit without dre is shit. and i mean SHIT. yayo is the best in there clik but yet he gets no shine, i dunno why

20) So amazing-7/10- beat's smooth. Olivia sounds good on this. Lyrics is straight

21.) I don't need em-3/10 beat's weak. ski mask way was enough. not this stuff

22.) Hate it or Love it Remix-10/10 Great Remix to a song with the whole g-unit. game's rips this song so does buck. yayo and banks lines are ok on this track

Overall: 7/10 it's a decent cd.like everyone else says... it's not as good as G.R.O.D.T. but it's listenable.there's a little bit too much repetiveness in the types of songs on the cd and possibly too many songs. 50's voice gets tiring after awhile. should have had more collabs with respectable artists like T.I. etc
